Dear
Parents, Last Tuesday I held a parent education night on the emergency response plan for Laguna. This is critical information that every parent needs to know. There was a break down in communication about this event therefore I will be holding a second parent training on the crisis plan on November 14th at 7pm. For the parents who were able to attend I would be grateful for your feedback in terms of the information that was presented. Your comments will help me improve upon the presentation. Dr.

Parking
Lot We are asking parents to work with us in the parking lots, especially during the pick-up time at the end of each day. It is important that cars pull forward before loading or unloading students. This will keep the line moving with efficiency. We realize parking is a challenge but it is imperative that you do not park illegally. If there was an emergency at the end of the day, which has happened before, emergency vehicles would not have clear access to the school. Students should not be encouraged to walk through the parking lot unescorted. Parents are bypassing the pick-up or drop-off line and letting students out in the center lane. This is very unsafe. The roughest time in the parking lot is between 8:05-8:15 and 2:40-2:55. Please come five minutes earlier to avoid the main congestion in the morning and demonstrate patience and courtesy at the end of the day. It’s over in 10 minutes! |
